Why this work needs care
A small company has no HR department and makes employment decisions anyway. A dismissal, a grievance, a leave request. Each one has a procedure attached that nobody involved has read recently.
A large company has the expertise and still gets caught. The person deciding is carrying forty other things, and the rule that mattered was the one nobody thought to check.

Decide in a room that knows the rules
Open a decision room for the question. A disciplinary, a redundancy, a contract change. Say which country's employment law applies. Weaver-AI names the standards in view for every member and says which one bears on what is being discussed.
Answer from your own handbook
Add contracts, policies and the staff handbook to the workspace, and ask against those. Weaver-AI says what it could not find rather than answering from employment law in general. Employment law in general is not the law your contracts were written under.
Write up the meeting that decided it
A grievance hearing or a review that produced a decision gets notes, the decision, and who owns what next. It also gets a record of Weaver-AI having been there, and on whose authority.
What makes this different from a general chatbot
Weaver-AI is not your employment lawyer and does not rule on whether something was lawful. It identifies rules that may apply and says to check them, while there is still time to change course.
A room says what it is working to. The Equality Act, Title VII, the ACAS code. Every member can see that list, so nobody has to trust that somebody checked.
Employment material is some of the most sensitive a company holds. Access is scoped to the workspace, and nothing is added to any shared corpus.
It can use approved documents, meetings you invited it to, and applications you connected. It also says what it could not verify.
What Weaver-AI will not do
It joins no meeting you have not turned on, reads no calendar you have not connected, and is announced in every meeting it attends. Meeting audio is never retained. Transcripts are held for thirty days and then deleted. The notes written from a meeting are kept for as long as the account owner sets, and the default is ninety days. Credentials spoken aloud are removed before anything is stored.
