Why this work needs care
Authority is bounded and the boundary is written down somewhere. A guideline, a treaty wording, a binder. The referral that should have happened is obvious afterwards and easy to miss at the point of quoting.
A declinature or a rating decision has to be explicable months later, to a regulator or to a broker, by somebody who was not in the room when it was made.

Take the referral in a room
Open a decision room for the risk. An out-of-appetite submission, a limit above authority, a coverage question. Say whose rules apply. Weaver-AI names the standards in view for every member, and shows both positions where two point differently.
Answer from your own guidelines and wordings
Add the underwriting guide, the binder and the treaty terms to the workspace, and ask against those. Weaver-AI says what it could not find rather than answering from underwriting practice in general. Underwriting practice in general is not your authority.
Keep the reason with the decision
Closing the decision fixes what was decided and what it was checked against. The basis of a declinature or a rating goes on the record rather than staying in somebody's memory.
What makes this different from a general chatbot
Weaver-AI does not price risk and does not rule on whether a decision was within authority. It identifies rules that may apply and says to check them, while the quote is still open.
Product-governance and fair-value obligations are named in the room by the person who opens it. What a decision is being checked against stays visible to everyone in it, for the life of the room.
Nothing is switched on by default. Weaver-AI reads no calendar and joins no meeting until somebody turns it on.
It can use approved documents, meetings you invited it to, and applications you connected. It also says what it could not verify.
What Weaver-AI will not do
It joins no meeting you have not turned on, reads no calendar you have not connected, and is announced in every meeting it attends. Meeting audio is never retained. Transcripts are held for thirty days and then deleted. The notes written from a meeting are kept for as long as the account owner sets, and the default is ninety days. Credentials spoken aloud are removed before anything is stored.
